The Pursuit Of Happiness

The major reasons why many want to be rich is so that they can be very comfortable and happy. But that is not entirely true; money may give you comfort but it won't give you happiness. If money brings happiness then there wouldn't have been so many depressed celebrities and entrepreneurs as we have them today. Happiness is neither tied to riches or glory, it is something you have to create for yourself.

You won't be happy when you are rich. You won't be happy when you are married or when you get that dream job or that perfect car or that mansion or that guy you like so much. You won't be happy when you give birth to your children or when that problem finally goes away because happiness is not a destination, happiness is a journey.

Every stage in life comes with its own challenges, so there will always be a battle to fight whether you want to or not. No achievement can solve your problems only Christ can and that is why He says: Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest., -Matthew 11:28

You have to decide to be happy from today and run from things or people that suck you dry and leave you bitter and frustrated. Happiness is not just a feeling, it is a choice.
